None of those men served with Kerry on his boats. His crewmates were the only ones who witnessed Kerry in action and fought him with side by side.

The military is full of Republicans and it's easy to find those who will sign a statement against Kerry. I'm sure half the military would vote for Bush, but these men have no justification, no reason besides partisan politics and they lie and slander JK when they attack his patriotism or ability to serve and lead. This is just a Bush-Cheney smear campaign disguised as something else.

Clearly, Kerry stood out above ANY of them in Swift Boats as the best leader of all. it was Kerry who decided to take the offensive instead of running away from enemy fire. Some of these ex-officers are probably still jealous about that. But take it from 15 out of 16 men who actually fought with Kerry. He deserves our 100% respect and admiration. He saved lives and kiled more than 20 enemy. Very much beyond the call of duty. Especially compared to Bush and Cheney, both of whom ran and hid, shirking duty.
