Israelis would withdraw at the drop of a hat if they could be assured of peace. So why the settling in the occupied territories? Perhaps there is some misguided thinking going on with a minority of Israelis, but on the otherhand, if the PA is not interested in negotiating for peace, what the heck, screw em. If all the PA does is keep talking and acting as if it wants to overthrow Israel, then a majority of Israelis will not be interested in standing down from the region. For what purpose, so the PA will have fewer miles to travel to kill jews? The majority of Israelis have no faith in Arafat being true to his word. Christ, I know I wouldn't trust him. But I see you would. We have a difference of opinion.
