I agree with you on the emasculation tactic, but, as you know, disagree on the topic of insinuating the sexual preference of public figures. It's, quite simply, unimportant to me.

PS: I think Kerry looks pretty darned southern Irish. There's a physical type: tall, thin, with a thin jaw and hooded blue eyes, typical of the area around the Ring of Kerry. The Irish call the look that of a Kerryman.

I think the French would disagree with you that being French is akin to being emasculated.

As for one's being likened to a gigolo, how do you equate that to being emasculated? Definition below.
