Syria was helping us in the battle against Al Qaeda. It's a shame we turned our backs to them

I consider the truth of this article highly unlikely. If this information had been transmitted to the FBI and CIA, as alleged, it would have become common knowledge the next day by the usual anti=bush dissidents within the bureaucracy. Daschle and Pelosi would probably have know the story before Bush. Senator carl Levin would certainly have called for an investigation. There are no secrets in Washington. Remember Monica.

Well, thats a good sounding story, but I am suspicious. Why are they now infiltrating agents into Iraq? Didnt the explosives and chemicals almost used to cause huge destruction and death in Jordan come from Syria? If they would like to become our friend, they would find a no better friend then Bush, but if they would like to be our enemy they will find Bush to be a BULLDOG. jdn
