I can understand your conclusions. I don't share his obsession with whether public figures are or are not gay, that's for sure. It is also hardly unheard of on the net for posters to claim to be of one gender when they are of another. Yep. I've learned this one recently. But usually that's done by people who are engaging in seduction, IMO. If AS says he's male, I'm willing to believe him and proceed from there. You can (certainly!) decide otherwise, but the whole issue of people calling him female when he is not was something I find truly disconcerting in this day and age.
