A Bronze Star is not a lesser award than a Purple Heart. Most would consider it more prestigious. Purple Hearts are common - my dad got one for a minor flak wound in WWII, and didn't think much of it. Almost everyone in his unit had one. You should stick to commenting on things you know about, whatever that might be. Comments like yours just make you seem stupid.

O'Neill is not credible. He is a long-time political operative for the extreme right after learning the craft of character assassination from Nixon's master, Charles Colson. If you read Colson's book, he knows how evil he was and that's why he became born again. He had many sins to atone for. O'Neill should start confessing and asking for forgiveness too. O'Neill knows damn well Kerry was a stellar war hero. The only reason he attacks him is pure party political hatred. Nothing else.
