I see. You believe that Bush ordered the torture of the prisoners in Abu Ghraib, and/or is personally responsible for the torture because he initiated the war.

I disagree, I don't believe that he ordered the men to be tortured, and I don't believe he condones it.

He said it was wrong, and the perpetrators will be punished. That's taking responsibility where I come from. But then, I don't hate Bush to begin with, and I don't think the war was wrong.

So we'll have to disagree.

<When you guys talk about Sadaam torturing his own people, do you think that he was doing it personally? Is he also not responsible?>

George Bush [and on down the line] is using the Milosevic defence, "I wasn't giving orders", which is different from the Nuremberg defence, "I was just following orders".

"Buck? What buck? I haven't seen any buck to stop".

Turning a tiger loose on somebody in a cage then saying one didn't personally eat the person is hardly a good claim of innocence.

Speaking of Milosevic, how many years has the trial gone on now? How much money have the lawyers made? How much more money is there for them to collect? A filibustering trial is a new technique. He is obviously not very guilty or the trial would have been over after 1 day. "Your honour here are the 100,000 bodies with photos of Milosevic shooting them". I wonder which is the Guiness Book of Records longest trial.
