Like you said after the first shot the plan goes out the window. Mr. Rumsfeld has done a good job of adapting to this war. I still remember people running on 9/11 and Rumsfeld shedding his coat and carrying people out of the Pentagon. One tough SOB.

He's failing to please everybody. Furthermore, he's failing to even try to please everybody. Personally, I hope Bush can keep him on til the end of his next term. There's still lots and lots of folks around who need to be severely displeased.

Mike, Do you want Bush to win? I assume your answer is yes. So fire Rummy. End of story. Bush is going to lose while you folks sit around thinking you have an issue with his vietnam service. No one cares Mike. What i care about is keeping Bush as Pres. This is a political thread. I want to win. So i want to do things that make it more possible for that to happen. Cease and desist with the Vin Foster type stuff and concentrate on the flip flop and liberal bias. For Bush--free him of the guys who have mismanaged iraq no matter how well they have done in other theaters. Mike PS One more ?. Do you actually believe that the iraq thing couldnt have been done much better? You see you can support the war but criticize the execution. Thats how kerry will win. Mike
