let’s step back and consider that the dozen or so perpetrators of these acts at the Abu Gharib prison facility were a few bad apples not representative of the sensibility that animates much of American society, a society made up of people who come, or whose ancestors have come, from every country in the world. I'm still wondering how these acts were perpetrated in the middle of a maximum security facility. And why one of the photos showed 32 boots...that would be another 16 folks that had knowledge of what was going on in there. This whole thing just sickens me. A few bad apples? How the heck did we get such a concentration of bad apples in one facility? Now I read that the same problems may exist in other units. Even if it's only the 7 soldiers so far reprimanded...that's a lot of bad apples...all in one place. It stinks. For the wingers tuning in...yeah it also stinks to have the bodies of soldiers burned and drug through the streets. There's a few bad apples amongst the Iraqis too. The difference is one is on the street. The other is in a US facility, where one would hope that sanity and humanity is in the driver's seat. Waiting for the other shoe to drop. Orca

you're way out of line here chinuSFO, your remarks are uncalled for. the prisoner humiliation photos are certainly appalling, they go to show that this kind of behavior is not limited to the bad guys only.... it is inherent of mankind, all types, all nations, all races all, genders, it is disappointing to see and be reminded that man is still just an animal.... the human race is hopeless in my estimation.... I'm anxiously waiting for the mothership to return and pick me up, I've had enough of this planet, mankind here is beyond redemption. regards and onward....Chucky
