Moron: The Shah was installed in 1943, by the British. He overthrew his father (Shah Sr.) who was pro-Nazi.

The Shah then remained in power until 1979, when he was stabbed in the back by Carter, who deserves credit, with Clinton, for the Islamic subhumans starting this war with the West that they were afraid to start for a thousand years before.

They will be afraid again, within about twenty years. But they will be at least 100 million short by then.

You left wing sewer rats may have to watch all this from France, or Cuba...

You are proving again, with one post, that you are stone-headed ignorant of both history and economics.

No one is surprised...

Mossadeq was appointed after the Pro-Western Prime Minister was murdered. He later resigned, and was soon reappointed to the position again - not re-elected. Further, Mossadeq tried to close the Legislature once his opposition began lining up support.

Where did you get the information that Mossadeq led a legally elected government from? Michael Moore?

I believe, that the Iranian oil industry was nationalized by Mossadeq - I don't think this changed, when the Shah came to power.

re: "No the Iranians did have a legally elected government in 1953. The Mossedeq government. We overthrew it and installed the Shah. They finally got angry enough at the Shah and overthrew him. Unfortunately Khomeini was the galvanizing personality behind this coup.
The best thing for us to have done was to eat the nationalization of the oil business that Mossedeq wanted."

BTW, what makes you think that bin Laden cares about democracy in Iran?

re:"The entire world would not be in this terrorist situation if we would have supported the democracy in Iran instead of suppressing it for our short term needs."
