Karl Rove, the president's chief political adviser, has told one Bush adviser that he believes that it will take a generation for the United States to live this scandal down in the Arab world, and that one of the dangers of basing a campaign on national security and foreign policy is that events can be beyond the president's control.

Boy is that ever the truth. Who cares about the Iran policy...we're going to be in damage control for the next 50 years thanks to a bunch of loonies who were allowed to run one of the largest prisons in Baghdad.

Does Kerry want to normalize relations with Iran like his campaign Finance chairman Hassan Nemazee?

"One of John Kerry's presidential campaign Finance Chairmen is a fellow named Hassan Nemazee .
.....
Indeed, Hassan Nemazee is the co-founder of the Iranian American Political Action Committee, which seeks to 'normalize' relations with the tyrannical regime foreign policy expert Michael Ledeen calls the 'Terror Masters.'

What influence has Nemazee's money had on John Kerry? On December 3rd, Kerry told the Council on Foreign Relations he 'will be prepared early on to explore areas of mutual interest with Iran." He also chastised the Bush administration for not cutting deals with the Islamo-fascist regime."
