Actually, I was referring to your work as a lawyer, but now that you mention it, all those other features would be pretty useful too. My point was that these prisons need some sort of lawyer who represents the detainees (or whatever they call them). I don't know enough about military doctrine to know whether or not lawyers are normally assigned to review activities and to make sure that the various requirements are met. I suppose not.

As far as I can tell, keeping detainees from obtaining sufficient sleep prior to questioning is also a violation of the Geneva Convention.

The basic problem is the ancient tension between duty (the desire to achieve results) and honor (the desire to uphold military standards).
