Is $40 really high with inflation ? Is it high with 1% Fed funds rates ?

Crude & gas discounted for inflation - note data ends about 2000. Crude now almost $40 for a 42 gallon barrel.

Re: REITs - the prices would need to come down first before REITs are a good deal. Higher interest rate should do that.
