I don't think so. I think Kerry meant just what he said - that it was one of the Ten Commandments.

If you think I was making an issue of what Kerry meant or didn't mean, we are, indeed, having a communication failure.

And if you think I care about what Kerry meant or didn't mean we're having an even bigger one. <g>

What interests me about this, to the extent that anything about it does, is watching all the old hens clucking over "pst, pst, did you hear what he said today?" just like they might cluck over Suzie wearing white shoes before Memorial day or dating a man who had been married before. Oh, the scandal. Reminds me of the old hens last election who clucked over and found deeper meaning in Bush's malapropisms and other verbal stumbles.
