JFK didn't like his Texan running mate but was saddled with him nonetheless. LBJ brought votes, Cheney is costing Bush support - even among republicans and swing voters. Bush's national guard records first went to the neocon offices for cleaning before some were released to the public. When Bush was dropped from flying status there is a required form which states the reason. That was never released.
