Thanks, well it's just my opinion, but I'll give you two little anecdotes to back it up.

Last summer we met a nice guy from Milan while sitting around one of the upscale beaches here in Sardinia. To make a long story short, we've became pretty good friends over the last 8 months. His son and mine are the same age and got along really well.

Anyway...initially he told me one of the main reasons he was so interesting in talking to us was because he was an Italian executive for the American company Scott’s. And he's had some difficulty understanding the nuances of the English language. It's important to him because he has to go back to a meeting in the U.S. about every 4-5 months.

In another incident, I was in a small town in an out of the way store in Crete a few weeks ago and was interested in purchasing one of their granite statues. Decided not to purchase, but as I was leaving the owner suggested I might buy one later on their website. This piqued my interest, so I asked the owner who had built his website. He said he hired a company in Massachusetts as if it was nothing unusual.

I believe under the umbrella of commerce, we are all getting closer together.
