I was wondering the same thing and If it was the BOE raising rates then why oh why is yeller dog getting kicked as well?

edit do we get to see $40+ oil today or will they drop kick that too?

Initial jobless came in at 315,000, so it's certainly not that.

Headline on Marketwatch mentioned oil worries.

Looks like a low volume sell program went into effect around 1:00am...

It looks like they followed the overseas markets...

Japan turned down around 1:00am and Europe had a gap down opening around 3:00am...
