Kerry will make some noise about education just like every presidential candidate has done, but the truth is that education is a state and local issue, not a federal one.

The only thing the federal government can really do is dole out some tax dollars, which will promptly be wasted. The school systems with the worst results are unfortunately the ones that are best at running through money.

Kerry has been focusing on education, today too in fact, waiting to recuirt better teachers, pay more attention to education and quality, and to fix the broken and un-funded No Child Left Behind. Bush had a good idea, then duymped it on the states and just abandoned it. That's not concern or leadership.

This is one area where rollbacks of tax cuts for the billionaires can be smartly invested.

Buhs's huge dishonest negative campaign has backfired. His own negatives are now sky-high. This is what happened to stinkers who throw manure, it sticks to them most of all.

USA Poll - 62% disapprove of Bush, MSNBC poll - 60% disapprove of Bush. So that pretty much proves it.
