The example you cite in this post of the mitigating factors relates to a situation of extreme emotional duress (the lover scenario). I have a hard time seeing any mitigating circumstances that would lessen the guilt or punishment of the perpetrators in this case. This certainly has the look of being carried out in a very deliberate fashion and with the perpetrators having a grand old time to boot.....but hey, what the hell do I know....I'm not a lawyer I'm just a dumb Engineer <g> MON.
