So counter-insurgency will never work in a jungle environment, is that what you're trying to say?

Or just that counter-insurgency, in general, will never work?

Are you under the perception that nothing can be done to prevent an insurgency against the majority of a population?

Or is it that it's "just not worth the effort"?

Btw, do you know anything about Malaysia?

Also... any opinions about the Sendero Luminoso in Peru?
