OT: The market was already in decline prior to 9/11. The ultimate bottom formed in October 2002 was in hindsight easy to see based on sentiment and technical indicators.

I should have loaded the boat in October 2002 and sold in January of this year. But I was worried about the state of the economy. Fundamental valuations then were not as low as what we saw at the bottom in the Great Depression for value stocks much less technology stocks if there were any to speak of then.

So I worried too much about the market selling off again to fundamental valuation levels seen at previous bear market bottoms especially those seen in the depression.

I hope we never see a repeat of those kinds of conditions in this country again.
