The recession started in March 2001 after Bush was in power. Clinton gave us the best economy of any two-term president ever for 6-7 straight years. Kerey would bring back a similar team with similar policies. it's all about fiscal conservatism as opposed to reckless over-spending. As McCain says, Bush and DElay spend like "drunken sailors". Jack Kemp says Bush is the most economically reckless president he's ever seen.

Since Bush took office we have lost 2 million jobs, amassed about 2.5 trillion in deficits and the dollar has lost 35% of its value. CLinton created 22 million jobs and started paying down the national debt. The dollar rose substantially during Clinton's era.

Obviously the Bush economic policy has not worked, but has greatly weakened us economicaly. Try again.
