Yes they were. agreed. But was there a price to pay for these great years. Do you believe that the USA economy could just go on forever without any market corrections?

Do you think the USA economy can expand without exporting anything as you have said?

I would have thought it was computers and peripherals...Yes, let's bring back the good times when Clinton was hated by the wingers but the rest of the world loved and respected him, unlike Bush whom everyone is appalled by and the world hates him too, and by default everyone now hates Americans and American soldiers.

Here's the list of exports 98 through 2002. As you can see Bush has even managed to ruin our export gains:
