This will probably sound stupid (told in retrospection sg), but it never hurt me when I put in stop-loss limits. On the contrary, it did when I didn't (and I confess, there's been sad and painful cases of that).

btw, what about selling some covered calls on the stock you own? But, at 2$ (Canadian at that;\) I wonder if there's any market for options....
