Derek....That was a great observation~~ Can't you hear the screeching of the presses, while they stop and think about that for a milisecond ....

BTW, Melvin Laird was Secretary of Defense during the My Lai time frame....There were 550,000 military personnel in VietNam at that time, and over 1,200,000 military personnel in Asia.... There are reports that over 500 people might have been killed at My Lai.... I can't find any reference at all to anyone even thinking that Laird should be 'fired', nor do I remember anything like that. The people who were guilty of the actual crime were punished.
