And I'm still outraged by the infamous "Anti-France" campaign by this admin.

The admin. was anti-Chrirac and his former foreign minister. It is the American right that turned against French people.

But there is a deep underlying hostility towards the French in the US. I have never been to France but my family name is French and, while I am still working on the genealogy, a lot of my ancestors are French. So I tend to discount hostility towards the French.

One thing that turns off the American middle class is body odor, and it is said that the French do not bathe often enough nor use deodorant. That is a very grave shortcoming in the US, only the lower classes have stinky armpits, feet, breath, bottoms and genitals.

My experiences with properly ripened French cheese makes me give credence to this criticism. I thought I knew what brie and camembert tasted like because I bought mine at American-style cheese shops. When I finally tasted cheeses ripened as they are preferred in France, I had to spit them out and the aftertaste made me gag. It reminded me of dirty bathrooms. I do like French cheese but will eat it American style.

Modern day Frence cinema is dreadful and modern day French music is worse. I prefer California wine. But the movie stars are beautiful. I will always love Gerard Depardieu.

This war-loving administration is shitty to the world.
The s... it does in you own country is your business. If you reselect him, you didn't deserve a better one.

Well, I guess we should have left the French in the hands of those peace-loving Nazis, right??

What really appals me is the BS that French leaders purvey to their masses, for the purpose of enriching themselves and to support brutal dictatorships with whom they want to do billions in business with.

It is now CLEAR that the primary reasons that leaders in both France and Russia BOTH directly blocked the enforcement of 17 different UNSC binding resolutions due to the personal financial stakes they had in supporting Saddam.

1.3 Billion barrels of oil to Russia, and over 100 million barrels of oil to France.. And the majority of that oil went to politically connected individuals and supporters of their respective political parties.. (in the case of Russia, millions of barrels went DIRECTLY to Putin's political party).

It's little wonder that they didn't want the US to invade and potentially uncover evidence of such corruption..

AND INDEED, had we not invaded, it's quite unlikely such evidence would have ever been discovered.

And you know something, we've BARELY BEGUN to complete the translation of the tonnes of documents discovered in Iraq.

And that's probably why Bush feels comfortable traveling to France for D-Day ceremonies, at which time I expect Chirac to make some remarkable overtures towards FINALLY assisting the US with this Iraq situation.
