We are unpacked and getting around now and learning the area. This "Blue Heaven" is bluer than I thought.

There are 15 houses on our street. We have 2 retired cops, and one retired DEA Agent. We also have 4 empty lots about to be built on and I hear another cop is looking to buy one of them.

The morning talk show many/most listen to is Mark Furman. Yesterday, he was working over the Catholic Bishops for covering up child abuse.

It is the friendliest place I have ever been.

Interesting that Sullivan would accuse the Catholic heirarchy of doing Rove's work. I expect that the bishop in question would do the same thing to any Republican politician who was outspoken in favor abortion, gay marriage and stem cell research.

I expect a conservative backlash in the Church upon the death of the Pope. Those who appear to be in the know say the next Pope will be far more conservative.
