<bonds are falling on inflation concerns a robust economy>

I really have my doubts about the economy being that great. I dont trust government reports especially on jobs. If the economy was doing well the deficits would be going down.

My consipiracy theory says that the government is putting out these bogus reports on the economy so they can justify raising rates. Rates have to go up because of credit problems. Yesterday the Fed suggested it may cut off Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac to government lines of credit!

Greenspan is trying to let the market take steps to prepare for rising rates and giving the banks time to unload stocks and bonds on the general public.
