Mike, I'm not going to buy into all the hype about the
alleged massive screw ups either. Hell, this is part of
the global war on terror. Not only are we fighting the
dead enders in Iraq, but terrorists from any number of
foriegn countries.

The terrorists know the score. They got their buts kicked
in Afghanistan, then Iraq fell. They know Bush is dead
serious about the WOT. And we continue to chase them down,
plus their sources of funding.

The thugocracies in the ME know the score. If we are
successful in Iraq, their future is very uncertain. They
are doing everything they can to make sure Iraq is a
failure.

Shall I tell you about the effects of the liberal left
both in the US, but in Europe? Shall I reiterate the overt
opposition, spin, lies & distortion from them & the
liberal media? Don't tell me that their effect on public
opinion didn't affect anything at all in the WOT.

How about the corruption that led France, Russia, Germany,
China & the UN to overtly oppose us every step of the way?
Don't they deserve to absorb a serious amount of blame?
Can't you imagine how different the WOT would have been if
not for their greed & corruption? Can you imagine how much
better things would have been if they were actually on our
side in the WOT?

What about all the real progress that we never ever hear
about in the media?

Hell, you'd think we lost both wars badly & Iraq is in
complete shambles if you listened to the opposition. As
far as I'm concerned, we're lucky that Bush & Blair have
accomplished as much as they have so far.

I never expected perfection 100% of the time. This is the
real world. Nothing goes precisely the way you think it
will in peace time. In a war, you can expect that a lot of
things will go badly. That's reality.

We need stay the course, adapt & make the necessary
changes to make sure we will win. So far, that's what I
see happening. Even with all the fierce opposition from
many who should be right in there with us helping. If
anything, I blame them more than I blame Bush, Blair or
any of the Coalition.
