2-3 trillion in deficit spending should be netting us 20,000,000 new jobs. Do the math. 150,000 new jobs each month are needed just to keep up with population growth. Bush has lost almost 2 million and he's the only president to ever lose jobs during his 4 years since Herbert Hoover. This despite the grossest deficit spending in history by far. With the money Bush has over-spent, he could have created more than 20,000,000 $50,000/yr jobs. So where has all the money gone?

Most of the jobs being created these days are low-paid service jobs plus construction jobs which will stop once interest rates start going up, which they are now. We're all glad if people are getting back to work but the damage under Bush has been terrible. And who is going to pay off the huge Bush debt?
