I'm talking about the neocons.

Clinton was not involved in Iran/Contra.

Kerry exposed the illegal scheme.

I often forget how historically challenged the audience is on SI (Not to mention too young to have experienced the events firsthand).

In 1985 Senator John Kerry chaired a commitee on drug abuse and drug dealing. While investigating drug shippments into the country, especially that Bush favorite cocaine, he was presented with evidence that cocaine arrived on a plane chartered by the CIA. The subsequent investigation showed that the plane with the drugs had been carrying guns to exchange for the drugs. Then the trail showed that the supplier of the guns was also supplying guns to our supposed enemy Iran. It turns out that the neocons, in a program led by Oliver North, were selling guns to Iran and using the funds to finance the civil war in Nicaragua.

It just goes to show that some conspiracy theories are true.

It's the very same cast of characters, the neocons, who are perpetrating the current crimes. If you aren't scared yet, you aren't paying attention.
