Sometimes I wonder if CNN works for the Iraqi insurgents and against George Bush. I have doubts. Does anyone find the reports by CNN reporter Rula Amin to be virulent and anti American to an extreme degree? I get the feeling that Arab forces are using US first amendment rights and using it as a weapon against US army using CNN as a weapon. Bush is fighting a war at home and abroad. Also, recent prison abuse worries me in a different way. This sets a bad precedent. In the future this type of yellow journalism (Dan Rather and CBS) can be used to destabilize any strategic force. In this case it is US army suffering. These types of dirty tricks can be used by the journalists more in the future and where does it end? Maybe its time to scrap the first amendment or at least until the war is over. Cheers, S
