Apparently you see the Monica incident as a single issue...To me and others it was one of many clues of a total lack of character and failures in judgment that permeated his administration....How can you overlook the failure to respond to the 93 WTC bombing and other acts of terror during his watch?...You might not agree with current policies, but someone had to do something other than attending conferences while wearing Nehru jackets and looking "friendly".

The Clinton Administration really marks the beginning of the end of the American Empire. He was the top law enforcement officer of the land. He openly broke the law he had pledged to uphold, lying repeatedly to the American courts. Most importantly, through his lies he denied the rights of Paula Jones, an American citizen, to full discovery during that phase of her case. Bill Clinton did all of this with the support of the American people. He, more than all other presidents, accessed and then rotted away the foundational integrity of the American system. Americans watched him do it and then cheered. The basis of American integrity is now gone. It is just a matter of time until the entire structure collapses. Prudent people know this, are taking from the country everything they can get while there is still time, and they will be the ones hopping off at the most opportune moment. The rest of you will suffer incalculable pain.
