That is the whole point. The Holocaust was committed by people who held power. It was committed against people without power.

Mel Gibson's father is not fond of Jews. Who knows what he would do if he had the power to do so. But he does not have the power to harm Jews even if he wishes to do so.

I think we should be careful with mixing things up. This is not only important for the victims of the Holocaust, their families, but for all of us.

Lot of things in this world are horrible, but the Holocaust was uniquely horrible in (the current vernacular) a number of metrics (tangible and intangible).

I know I am being preachy about this, but I just don't have any other way of communicating this thought.
