Almost everyone on SI is bearish on housing stocks - I'm not aware of anybody else but me who's buying 'em now. And I suspect those people who want to place a bet that there's a housing bubble have come to the very obvious conclusion that shorting housing stocks is, presumably, a good way to make that bet. So there's plenty of shorting going on, and apparently good money being made this way now, especially today.

Guess it depends on your time frame and investing skills. I've been saying for more years than three that housing stocks are bargain investments. I continue to maintain that view.
