LB, Liberman's comments this morning spoke to just those concerns of most of us. As he was talking, my mind flashed two large bill boards...

One shows the prison abuse, and the other shows the terrorist abuse. Both are serious concerns. We can only "fix" the problem that some of our citizens caused.

We can't "fix" the problems that others have caused us. We can just note them, and announce our dismay and disgust and horror.

"Suck it up" is good advice. I have no idea what the actual meaning of that is - I imagine it has to do with sucking in your gut in order to look poised and ready for action, rather than letting it pooch out like a slob.
