We must all be prepared to see more pictures that will be released. There will also be a video or even more than one video that will be made public shortly.

This information was released during the Senate hearing today.

I have a few questions.

Why did the media release these pictures when they refused to release pictures of the people that were forced to jump from the towers on 9/11? Why did they suppress the pictures of the murder of Daniel Purle? Why did the suppress the pictures of the 4 contractors that were burned, mutilated and humiliated in Iraq? And lastly, why did they suppress the pictures of the Israeli mother that was pregnant and her 4 little daughters that were brutally murdered in Israel last week?

I would really appreciate an answer.

M

Again i am not for dumping rummy to give dems red meat. Thats a side effect in trying to get moderates off the fence on our sides--folks who dont think we have done a good job at pacification in iraq and are tired of rummy arrogance as they perceive it(not necessarily me). In order to get these folks some dems will slobber over the red meat just like some cons slobber over kerrys vietnam record as if it will have any bearing on the election. '
As i said to wstr, i choose a larger tent and victory over one mans career. That extends to a general or two also if at fault. mike

"We don't know yet WHY these people who participated in the outrageous behaviors did it...."

I'm very interested in the real answer to that.

Of all the things that could have been done wrong, abusing
prisoners was probably the worst thing. The most horrific
form of abuse they could have done was sexual humiliation.
To make it even worse was to have a woman actively
participate. And the coup de gras was to have digital
photographic pictures of it all.

I'm almost inclined to put on a tin foil hat & start
spinning conspiracy theories.

Power tends to corrupt. Absolute power corrupts absolutely.

American soldiers are not exempt from this rule. Neither are American leaders.
