If Gore or Kerry were president at the time, it probably wouldn't happened. bin Laden ain't no dummy--but he knows Dubya is. And I believe even Osama underestimated just how dumb Junior is. Can't imagine how many Wet Dreams of bin Ladens' have come true under the watchful eye of George W. Bush.
