The last time I saw Kerry was with many blacks and hispanics all cheering him on. Many top leaders in the minority world stood up and gave sincere speeches about how they had personally gotten to know Kerry and were convinced he's the real thing in terms of caring about their problems. I went to a GOP fundraiser a few years ago and it was 100% white men with very short hair, suits and ties chanting like some executive Hitler rally. Very weird. That's why if you're black and willing to sell your people out, you have an easy top job in any GOP administration. Some have taken the bait. Some like Powell end up regretting it.
