Bushies only appoint a few minorities to highly visible positions for show then dare Dems to question them. This includes Condi Rice who was appointed to a job she was not at all qualified for. Because of this, 9-11 was not stopped. If Clarke has been NSA it might have been stopped. Powell is qualified but disagrees with Cheney-Bush on many big issues and is now out of the loop, sick and tired of being used and ignored. The GOP is 90% white and the leadership is almost 100% white. Rightwing Cuban Americans are amongst the few exceptions.
