Sharon could have arrested that cleric in a wheelchair in the blink of an eye.

The civilized approach would have been arrest, trial, conviction and execution. This approach also would have helped the Americans.

But actually Ariel Sharon inclines more towards the model of Joseph --- "a dead man causes you no problem" --- Stalin.

Both Stalin and Sharon have solved a lot of problems. But the trouble is, their methods tend to create problems for others, not counting of course the people who are the "solutions."

You say that clearly I support Yassin. I haven't said that I support him, which of course you know. I say in every post that I don't think we should be involved in a bitter quarrel in a far away place where the outcome of the quarrel is of no consequence to us.

Let me say this to you as clearly as I can. I am not for (or against) the Israeli or the Palestinians. I am for my people, the Anglo-Celtic peoples of the Southern part of the United States. If I thought taking the side of Israel would help my people, I would do so. If I thought helping the Pals (as you call them) I would be for helping the Pals. In fact, I think staying out of the fight is the best course.

All the stuff you dregde up about genocide is a measure of the weakness of your position, and of the contempt with which you view the interests and well-being of the country in which you live. (I am assuming that you live in the USA.)

>>"The week before Yassin was killed, he personally ordered an attack on the port of Ashdod, which was designed to blow up the chemical storage tanks and kill thousands of people. The suicide bomber was stopped, and only killed 1 Israeli. Maybe they'll cut his ration of virigns."<<

How the hell do you know that?????? You really hurt your case for Israel.
