Hey Chuck: I used to hitchhike around the continent as a youth, which was a great experience in meeting people (drivers) from all walks of life. My experience is that nearly everyone is well-meaning, and willing to listen to other opinions, respectfully stated. The internet provides a very comfy home to the jerks who are exceptions to this generality, and it's important to remember the atmosphere on the internet does not reflect society as a whole. I don't mean to say that everyone should agree with my strongly held opinions. What I mean is that if most of the folks posting here got together in the right environment, we would likely be able to peacefully discuss and consider the others' opinions. Peter
