Karen, I think the enemy would be happy and wants Rumsfeld to go...That IS the bigger picture. Compare what happened under Clinton and Cohen. See unclewest's link of the WMD quotes for the last several years.

The author of this kudo assumes that what we have is a political problem--the American public is the audience--rather than a war problem, where the enemy is the audience. I think that misses the "bigger picture."
