I cannot find any emotional posts on your part when they showed the charred bodies of our fellow Americans strung up on a bridge after being dragged through the streets.

You haven't? Then you didn't look hard enough. I was sickened by what I saw. However, it's what I had been expecting........I knew this war would get real down and dirty. I had hoped the Americans that were working over there were getting paid big bucks...........because they were putting their lives at great risk.

However, I did not expect that we were torturing and killing Iraqis in their prisons; that we had become a surrogate for Saddam. In a million years, I could not have predicted that eventuality. It is why I am so shocked and disgusted. And its why I want Rumsfeld's head. I hold him accountable as the architect for this war. He deserves to pay for this mess........big time. If you don't agree, fine but don't tell me I don't care about my fellow Americans and favor the Iraqis over them.

There is a reason people feel this is a political reaction in OUR country. Many of our fellow Americans were dead silent when they witnessed atrocities committed upon ourselves...That is terrible.

I can't account for other Americans; only for myself and my friends. And to a person we were incensed with the American killings. I was furious that some Iraqis did not intercede at least in terms of recovering the bodies before they were mutilated. But then again, I've seen what mobs can do in this country.
