I said Kerry is a centrist democrat, but that's still a little to the left of center. Let's be honest. SImilarly moderate Republicans are generally a little to the right of center.

But now thanks to Bush's stubborn refusal to change course and correct the mistakes of his far rightwing neocon policies ( in other words the continuing dominance of hard-liner Cheney), the center is wide open and Kerry has moved right in. It is what he planned all along, as he knows that to be president he has to represent the views of ALL Americans as opposed to just the more liberal voters of Massachusetts.

Now you will not find a single "liberal" policy of JK's. The GOP will have to point back 10-20 years to find traditionally "liberal" positions and those dogs won't hbunt anymore. After all, people are allowed to change. The Bushes were once pro-choice moderate New England Republicans.
