i concur with you about his rant: pretty slim and desperate pickings IMO. now, Russ has pointed out that the feeds monetezation seems to have spiked nin earnest this past week, and it bears watching to see if Bernacke was not just joshing about helicopter drops, but early days yet.
But why should it all be about the dollar for the metals? Really, the dollar moved up a fraction and gold fell a ton. I htink the apparent cause and effect there lacks the pwer to truly explain what we are seeing.

I was frankly a little disappointed in RR that he had that. Van ECK sounds not quite..well balanced. Fleckenstein rants, heck Cramer rants... but that sounded like raving... JMHP
