Patricia, How ironic - kerry should know all about war crimes. After all did he not claim to be part of such in Vietnam?

He should be defending the perpetrators - they are just like all his brothers - right?

Of course - that is not my opinion - just his?

The rightwing owes Kerry a big apology for lying about his 1971 testimony and all the rest of their slander. Obviously he was a hero not a traitor to expose what was 100 times worse than what is going on in Iraq now.

I was just reading a non-fiction book set in 1969 and it quoted the headlines in those days. the Mi Lai massacre wasn't the only crime, the crime was the cover-up at the Pentagon and White House about not just that atrocity but dozens if not hundreds of others like it. One story was about 13 Vietnamese villages which the US had napalmed to the ground. Just incredible stuff we did in that war. And the rightwing thinks Kerry was wrong to mention it?

Now they honor the guy in Iraq who exposed the prison scandals, a man of far less stature and courage than JK showed in 1971.
