I won't disagree with that. There is a serious question in my mind though whether anyone, including Clinton, Gore, Lieberman or Kerry would have done anything differently. History seems to indicate not.

Saddam was the master bluffer and he bamboozelled our "intelligence" empires. This did not change with Bush II.

Saddam did the bluff, we called him, as Clinton and the other would have, and he's gone, good riddance.
