I had no trouble with it at all. You argued that a different meaning could be derived if you are allowed to reconstruct the sentence(s)...OK. But given the original post, and the context, the meaning was quite clear for reasonable people. Now you are arguing with the heart of the man who posted it. TP, You are way to smart and sensible for this kind of pettiness. Please drop it and lets have earnest topical discussions, backed by substance, and rational thinking.
