Are these standards used uniformly? Has Israel ignored any UN resolutions? Has US ignored any UN resolutions?

Actually, I attempted to research any past Chapter VII UNSC resolutions that might have been blocked by the US.

But resolutions, such as UNSC 242, are not binding, they are recommendations by the UNSC towards ALL parties to settle their disagreements peacefully.. They fall under Chapter VI of the UN charter..

Binding resolutions, on the other hand, are issued under the authority of Chapter VII when there is a current threat to international peace, and thus inherently authorize (mandate?) that all UN members enforce them.

I hope you'll take the time to refresh yourself with the UN charter Arun.. My having to CONSTANTLY point out the difference of UNSC resolutions issued under Chapter VI and VII is becoming tiresome.. I've pointed out these differences numerous times.
